Members of the Center for Spirituality and Health recently participated in the Healthy Gators 2010 Kickoff Event, held on the Reitz Union Colonnade at UF on Wednesday, October 26th. The Center, like many other UF campus organizations with a focus on health care, set up a tabletop at the event to distribute literature and talk to students and faculty in attendance.

The vision of Healthy Gators 2010, as explained by coalition chair Chris Machen in her keynote address, is a campus environment supportive of the development and maintenance of a healthy body, mind and spirit for all members of the University of Florida community. The Center for Spirituality and Health is proud to participate in this initiative and hopes to provide a unique perspective that brings together all three elements of health identified in the vision statement.
